Troubleshooting

(Omni Edition)

The device will not power on
  • Check that the battery is sufficiently charged.
  • Connect the supplied power adapter and try turning the device on again.
  • If the device still does not power on, contact Square Golf Customer Support.
Bluetooth connection issues
  • Wireless communication may take up to 30 seconds to initialize after power-on. Wait at least 30 seconds before attempting to connect.
  • Keep the OMNI monitor within Bluetooth range of the connected device and minimize wireless interference.
  • If necessary, restart both the OMNI monitor and the connected device (phone, tablet, or computer).
  • If Bluetooth connectivity is unstable when using the Windows app, refer to the โ€œBluetooth Connection Stability Guideโ€ on our SUPPORT page.
Red status LED
  • Turn the device off and then back on.
  • If the red status LED remains on after restarting, stop using the device and contact Square Golf Customer Support.
Ball not detected (no ball lock)
  • Check that the camera lenses are clean. If necessary, gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Place the ball within the Ready Zone at the recommended distance from the device.
  • Check that the correct handedness (left- or right-handed) is selected in the app or device settings.
  • Place the ball and OMNI monitor on the same level surface.
  • Remove any extra balls, alignment sticks, tees, or other objects from the Ready Zone.
  • Make sure the ball is stationary before taking a shot.
  • Prevent direct sunlight from entering the cameras. Do not point the cameras toward the sun.
Ball tracking fails
  • Check that the camera lenses are clean. If necessary, gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Check that the device firmware is up to date.
  • Try a standard white golf ball. Extremely bright, dark, matte, or heavily patterned balls may reduce tracking accuracy.
  • Make sure the device is correctly positioned relative to the hitting area.
  • Prevent direct sunlight from entering the cameras. Do not point the cameras toward the sun.
Club data is not tracked
  • Check that the required dedicated club stickers are correctly attached to the club.
  • Replace any stickers that are worn, damaged, dirty, or incorrectly positioned.
  • Place the ball toward the front of the Ready Zone for optimal club capture.
Measurements are inaccurate or inconsistent
  • Check that the camera lenses are clean. If necessary, gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Place the device on a stable, level surface.
  • Check that the device is correctly aligned with the intended target line.
  • Remove any objects that could obstruct the camerasโ€™ field of view.
  • Avoid strong vibrations, movement, or unstable ground during use.
The game is lagging or unstable
  • Check the internet connection of the device running the simulation.
  • Low-performance devices may run the app slowly. Try lowering the graphics quality settings.
The app keeps crashing or freezing
  • Check the internet connection on your PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
  • Older devices, particularly those released before 2019 or with lower hardware specifications, may experience performance issues. Try lowering the graphics quality settings. If the issue persists, consider using a newer device with higher specifications.
