Troubleshooting
(Home Edition)
The device will not power on
- Check the battery charge level. If the device turns off when the AC adapter is disconnected despite a charged battery, the battery may be faulty.
- The battery may discharge over time even when the device is not in use.
- If the battery is fully discharged, connect the AC adapter to operate the device or charge the battery.
- If the device does not power on with the AC adapter connected, remove the battery, reconnect the AC adapter, turn on the device, and then reinstall the battery.
- If the battery appears faulty and the issue persists, contact Customer Support.
The device will not connect to the PC
If the device is not detected in the PC app, or selecting it does not establish a connection, check the following:
- A Bluetooth adapter that supports Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is required.
- If your PC does not have built-in Bluetooth, use a compatible Bluetooth USB dongle.
- In Windows Settings, open Bluetooth & devices and turn Bluetooth on.
- If Bluetooth was turned off, automatic connection may not work. Turn Bluetooth back on and try again.
The connection between HOME and the app keeps dropping
- Keep the HOME monitor and the connected device close enough to maintain a stable Bluetooth connection.
- If the connection is lost, the Bluetooth LED on the HOME monitor will blink. Select the device name in the app menu to reconnect.
- If the app enters sleep mode and the connection is lost, reconnect through the app menu. If that fails, power-cycle the HOME monitor and reconnect.
- If Bluetooth connectivity is unstable when using the Windows app, refer to the โBluetooth Connection Stability Guideโ on our SUPPORT page.
The aiming stick is not detected
- Refer to the user manual and position the aiming stick in front of the HOME monitor.
- The floor mat should contrast with the aiming stick. Keep brightly colored objects, such as golf balls, away from the stick.
- It may take up to 10 seconds for the aiming stick to appear in the app.
- After aligning the target direction, tap OK or CANCEL in the appโs aiming-stick settings, then remove the stick.
Measurements are inaccurate
- Avoid direct sunlight and other infrared light sources. Place the HOME monitor at the same height as the golf ball.
- Use a floor mat that contrasts with the ball, and place the ball within the Ready Zone.
The golf ball is not detected
- The app must be running to detect the ball. Place the ball in the Ready Zone as shown on the app screen.
- If the HOME monitor has been idle for some time, it may enter standby mode. Restart the app or return to the menu screen to resume operation.
- When the ball is detected, a red infrared LED should illuminate in the center of the HOME monitor. If it does not, contact Customer Support.
Shots are not registered
- Use a brightly colored golf ball and avoid dark gray balls.
- Reflective materials on shoes or clothing may interfere with ball detection and measurement.
Club data is not displayed
- Attach the supplied dedicated club sticker as instructed in the user manual.
- Club data may not be displayed for severe slices, hooks, or mishits.
The swing stick is not detected
- Enable swing-stick use in the app settings.
- Place a golf ball in the Ready Zone. Without a ball, the system will not switch to swing-stick recognition mode.
- Maintain a consistent address position.
- Do not position the swing stick too far from the HOME monitor. If the ball is close to the monitor, keep the stick at an appropriate distance as well.
Swing-stick swings are not detected
- The swing must pass over the golf ball on the ground. A swing outside the ballโs target area may not be recognized.
- The front of the swing stick must face the impact zone. An excessively open or closed clubface may prevent recognition.
- Unnatural swings may not be recognized.
- Keep the swing stick within an appropriate distance of the HOME monitor, consistent with the ball position.
Spin rate is not detected
- If you are not using a dedicated golf ball, attach the supplied sticker to the golf club.
- Dedicated golf balls are consumables. Their printed markings may wear off with repeated impacts, and replacement balls can be purchased.
The game is lagging or unstable
- Check the internet connection of the device running the simulation.
- Low-performance devices may run the app slowly. Try lowering the graphics quality settings.
The app keeps crashing or freezing
- Check the internet connection on your PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
- Older devices, particularly those released before 2019 or with lower hardware specifications, may experience performance issues. Try lowering the graphics quality settings. If the issue persists, consider using a newer device with higher specifications.
